PKN Audio Ltd. is a Hungarian company located in Szekesfehervar. Founded by Peter Papp, Roland Nagy, Gergely Kiss in 2001 (as PKN Controls) to manufacture industrial production machines and electronics and to design and produce quality, high powered switching mode power amplifiers for live concerts, theatres, clubs and stadiums. In 2011 amplifier manufacturing has outgrown PKN Controls, giving birth to PKN Audio, and PKN Defense & Industrial Systems.

The evolution of our product line has been remarkable since the introduction of the first XD Series (XD-1600, XD-2500,XD-3200) in 2001. These models were quite popular in the Central European region. Expanding on its success, we designed the new XD and XE Series and introduced them on the SIB2006 exhibition (Rimini, Italy) in 2006. Since that year we began establishing distribution channels on the World Wide market.

Over the past 25 years, we have developed and expanded our existing product range several times. By 2026, we are already producing 15 power amplifiers with different performance levels and features in Szekesfehervar. We constantly monitor our customers' feedback, taking them into account in our further research and development processes. That is why PKN AUDIO products have become recognized as one of the most reliable and best-sounding power amplifiers in the domestic and global markets.

This momentum remains unbroken within us and in the future we would like to present several new products which we develop that we expect to be of great interest, even to other experts of the trade.
